Tendon tears can affect various joints (knee, shoulder, ankle, ankle, toes) and occur as a result of blunt trauma or a chronic overwork.

Symptom: Sudden pain, muscle weakness, visible deformation and loss of function in the affected segment.

Treatment: Can be conservative in partial tears. Complete ruptures require surgical suture and guided recovery.
