Tendinitis is inflammation of a tendon, caused by repetitive overwork or microtrauma. It is common in the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle.
Symptom: Localized pain, sensitivity to palpation, swelling and limiting active movements.
Treatment: Repaus, ice, anti-inflammatory, physical therapy. In chronic forms - infiltrations or PRP.
