Rheumatoid foot occurs in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, with chronic joint damage and progressive deformities. It is associated with severe pain and walking difficulties.
Symptom: Deformed toes, painful beats, pain when walking, difficulty putting on shoes and prolonged walking.
Treatment: Orthopedic footwear, planting adaptations, rheumatologic treatment and, in severe cases, reconstructive surgery for forefoot realignment.
