Ruptured posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) is rarer than the former and usually occurs through direct trauma bent knee (car accidents, falls on the knee).
Symptom: Deep pain behind the knee, instability, edem and difficulty climbing slopes or stairs.
Treatment: Partial lesions - Conservative. Complete breaks - reconstructive surgery followed by intensive physiokinetotherapy.
