Meniscus tear is a common knee injury, commonly seen in athletes or active people. It affects the fibrocartilage structure responsible for stabilization and depreciation knee joint.

Symptom: Pain on knee rotation, blocking, swell, cracking or feeling unsteady.

Treatment: Conservative in minor cases (rest, physiotherapy). In persistent ruptures - arthroscopy with partial meniscectomy or suture.
