Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by median nerve compression in the wrist. It is common in women, especially in repetitive activities.

Symptom: Tingling and num numbness in your fingers (especially at night), pain in the palm, decrease grip force.

Treatment: Orthotics, local infiltration. In persistent cases - decompression surgery of the median nerve.
